G’day, Dave here. Welcome to my Website.

Performing various roles as a performer, writer, producer or arranger. This is a place where I can share some of the projects I have been fortunate enough to be a part of.

I am curious about all kinds of music, and for me, collaboration is key. I thank all of the great people I get the chance to create music with, either in the studio or on the stage.

As a member of Boy & Bear Dave has enjoyed 2 Aria #1 Albums in Australia with “Harlequin Dream” and “Limit Of Love”. as well as a # 4 with “Boy and Bear “ and a #7 with “Suck On Light”. The band performs regularly, touring across Australia, North America and Europe.

Performing varied roles as either a musician, producer, song writer, arranger or musical director, Dave has collaborated with many great Australian artists. Some of those artists include Missy Higgins, Sarah Blasko, The Sleepy Jackson, Marcia Hines , Keith Urban and the Whitlams.

Dave had a close artistic/mentorship relationship with the great Jackie Orszaczky, studying music under his leadership while performing and recording in Australia and Europe. Under Jackie’s watch and guidance Dave’s ever growing musical experiences and musical family expanded.

Dave is a founding member of post rock band Prop, punk Jazz outfit Aronas, and improvisational trio Informal Troupe. New Hypnotic Groove project Distant Birds also coming soon.

Some other artists Dave has collaborated with on record or the stage include, All Our Exes Live In Texas, Seeker Lover Keeper, Stu Larsen, Tim Hart,They Will Have Their way, Grace Amos, K.I.T.,Jade Macrae, Cristovam, Josh Pyke, Take Something Beautiful, Ben Gilles, Mat Walters, Brett Dennen, Tony Buck, Tina Harrod, Hamish Stuart, Lucie Thorne, Maples, Liz Martin, M Jack Bee, and Moth.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he studied under mentors Craig Scott, Judy Bailey, and Mike Nock.
